Llangarron is a village 5 miles from Ross-on-Wye and 6 miles from
Monmouth. It is ideally placed between the two for visiting both these market
towns, the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Symonds Yat, Welsh Borders, Black Mountains Brecon Beacons, Malvern
hills and of course Herefordshire,
Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire.
Llangarron is easily accessible being just 5 miles from the
M50 at Ross-on-Wye.

Accommodation
Wagoners Cottage is a newly
converted wagon shed. A short distance away from the other cottages.
It is a
delightful one-storey property, comprising of a very large kitchen/dining/sitting room
with exposed beams, colour television, DVD, CD player and radio.
Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one
with twin beds, sleeping two to four persons. Bathroom with toilet, washbasin and bath
with overhead shower. Cot and highchair may be available, please ask.

Oil central heating,
electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave, iron and ironing board. It has a patio as shown and
a large lawn at the back.
Garden furniture and barbeque supplied. Ample parking.

There are
sample menus in Wagoners cottage from
ten local pub/restaurants, also a folder in the
kitchen to help you find locally produced foods,
farm shops and farmers markets.
A
variety of tourist
information is on hand in the cottage and directions to the local supermarkets
and tourist information centers. Also if staying for a week or more a complimentary bottle of locally produced apple juice.
There is a Waitrose and a M&S Food Store in Monmouth and Morrisons and
Sainsburys in Ross-on-Wye.
Locally
produced food is available from Pengethley Nurseries Farm Shop, aprox 3 miles.

Local
Area
Visitors will find
details in each of the 4 properties outlining the surrounding area. Guests can
enjoy walks either around the fields or along the peaceful country lanes.
Please read visitors comments to see what previous guests have said over the
years.
Cycle hire is available in the
village from 'PedalAway' who also operate from the Forest of Dean. There are golf courses and swimming pools in both Ross-on-Wye and
Monmouth.

Booking a
cottage in Herefordshire:-
Rates include all central heating and electricity. Bed linen and towels are not included
in the price but can be hired at £6.00 p. p. for bed linen and
£4.00 p. p. for towels, this must be booked at least 6 weeks beforehand,
when paying the balance of monies. (If you decide to bring your own linen you will need a
bottom sheet, duvet cover and pillow cases, no sleeping bags permitted).
Weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless special arrangements have
been made. Short breaks are also available by arrangement. Guests may arrive
anytime after 3:00 pm and are asked to vacate the property by 10:00 am on the
Saturday.
If you
would like to book the property please telephone or email first to check
availability and then send a cheque for 25% of the total payment agreed
as deposit made payable to Angela Farr in
the next post.( for your convenience there is a booking
form available for you to print off and send with your cheque.
Please state
the number of guests and indicate if bed linen or towels are required. All bookings will
be confirmed in writing so please include your address with the cheque.
The balance of payment will
then be due six weeks prior to the
commencement of the holiday. For late bookings taken with under 6 weeks before
the holiday, the full amount will be due when the booking is made, again by
cheque in the next post.
