Old Shire Cakes

My delicious cakes are made from scratch, starting with raw ingredients. There are no prepared mixes or preservatives used, only the finest ingredients which helps give that " Extra homemade " appeal. I use free range eggs which give our cakes that golden colour and I try to source as many ingredients as locally as possible. Delivered and waiting for you or order while here, but please give 24 hours notice. 

Homemade 8" Family Size

VICTORIA SPONGE CAKE                             £6.00
     A golden crumb cake filled with butter cream and strawberry jam or lemon
     curd.              

CHOCOLATE SPONGE CAKE                          £6.00
     Flavour with cocoa powder, filled and topped with creamy chocolate butter
     cream.                 

COFFEE SPONGE CAKE                                 £6.00
     Flavour with coffee essence, filled and topped with creamy coffee butter
     cream.                    

CRUNCHY TOP LEMON DRIZZLE CAKE            £7.00
     A moist refreshing cake with finely grated zest of lemons, topped with crunchy lemon
     syrup.

 RICH CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE                    £8.50
     A moist sponge, filled and topped with rich chocolate fudge icing or for                    
     a real treat change the filling to whipped cream.

APPLE AND CINNAMON CAKE                        £10.00
     A sweet and refreshing cake with a layer of apples and a good sprinkling of
      cinnamon and topped with muscovado sugar and walnuts
     (delicious served warm with cream)

CARROT CAKE                                          £10.00
     A classic cake filled and topped with cream cheese icing and finished with walnuts on
     top.

    Each cake is individually made for each customer, because of this and the popular demand for celebration cakes I would advise to order as soon as possible. But at least 24 hours notice is needed.
